Welcome to my website, if you have found me it is probably because you have talked or otherwise communicated with me via Amateur Radio. My UK callsign is M0TCA and my Barbados callsign is 8P9OO. My UK base is in the middle of what was Sherwood Forest, in a small village called Rainworth, Nottinghamshire.

I always work with 100w or less & don't have a tower or beam antenna. Most of my contacts are made using an inverted L fed with a MyDel CG3000 Auto ATU. The antenna is 14m long (7m vertical & 7m horizontal). The ground for this antenna is 4 x 1.5m earth rods driven into the ground and connected to the CG3000 ground terminal.

with this antenna I can work 10m through 80m no problem & got some surprising 80m results on the recent CQWW SSB contest, working into the states on 80m is very impressive to me, as this is by far and away the furthest I have ever worked on 80m.

As time goes on I'll get some additional content setup, I have plans for a new improved ham shack & also additions to my antenna system.
